BRAKE PRESSURE SWITCH TESTING/REMOVAL

Remove the axle guard or inspection cover
to gain access to the pressure switch.

The brake pressure switch is set to normally
closed when the brake pedal is not being
depressed. To test, use a multi meter set to
test continuity; place one lead on each tab on
the back of the pressure switch. If the switch
is working properly, the meter will show a
closed circuit when the leads make contact.

Next, have someone depress the brake pedal;
the meter will show the circuit as open.
