2. SNMP
The following parameters can be set:
• Read Community
Enter the desired community name required for reading the
printer's settings.
• Read/Write Community
Enter the desired community name required for reading or chang-
ing the printer's settings.
• Trap Address
Enter the IP address of the unit to which the printer should send
trap messages.
• Trap Community
Enter a string that identifies the printer when it sends trap mes-
sages.
• System Name
Enter a name for the printer.
• Authentication Failure Trap
There are two options:
- ENABLE
- DISABLE
If you want to use failure traps, enable both the Authentification
Failure Trap and the Printer Failure Trap.
• Printer Failure Trap
There are two options:
- ENABLE
- DISABLE
If you want to use failure traps, enable both the Authentification
Failure Trap and the Printer Failure Trap.
After having entered the appropriate information and selected the
desired options, press the Submit SNMP settings button.
