32 Chapter 3 - Opening and Closing the Base Unit

Set the base unit in the upright position.

Replace the left or right side panel if removed.
5.
Replace the top cover. Ensure the top cover is completely installed so
the safety interlock switch engages. If the cover is not properly
installed, the system will not start.
6.
Replace the footstands.
CAUTION
After servicing or upgrading the system, always replace all panels and
covers. The panels and covers ensure the system maintains proper air
flow, so internal components do not overheat. Overheated components
may fail prematurely and may be dangerous to touch.
The panels and covers also ensure electromagnetic interference (EMI)
emissions are kept to levels below the standard requirements.
