Use the TCP/IP networking information you obtained from your
networking administrator to fill out the dialogs.
♦
In the TCP/IP Configuration dialog, select DNS to configure Domain
Name System options.
♦
During network configuration, you will see references to the Dynamic
Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) and the Windows Internet Name
Service (WINS). Do not select any options that enable or configure
DHCP or WINS unless all of the machines on your network use them.
DHCP and WINS do not function properly in a heterogeneous network.

Log on to Windows NT Workstation

Install the video display driver

To install the video display driver:
1.
Open Display in the Windows NT Control Panel. The Display
Settings dialog displays.
2.
Select Change Display Type. The Display Type dialog displays.
3.
Select Change. The Select Device dialog displays.
4.
Select Other. The Install from Disk dialog displays.
5.
Insert the diskette containing the video display driver into the floppy
disk drive; then select OK.
6.
Select Install. When prompted, confirm the path to the directory in
which the driver will be installed.
7.
If prompted to choose between the installed driver and a new driver,
select New.
8.
When the Video Configuration dialog displays, configure the video
display as described in Chapter 2, “Configuring the System.”
