about installing and configuring video display drivers.

Install the sound driver

To install the sound driver:
1. Open Drivers in the Windows NT Control Panel. The Drivers dialog
displays.
2. Select Add. The Add dialog displays.
3. Select
Creative Labs Sound Blaster 1.X, Pro, 16
from the
list, and select OK. The Install Driver dialog displays.
4. Insert the Windows NT CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.
5. Type the location of the driver into the Install Driver dialog as
follows, where drive is the location of the CD-ROM drive:
drive:\i386
6. Select OK. The Sound Blaster Base I/O Address dialog displays.
Make sure the DMA Channel (16_Bit) setting is set to 5.
7. Select the port to use for the sound driver (the default is 220), and
select Continue.
8. Select OK.
9. Restart the system.
