As an example, Figure 4-38 is a Bode plot showing the frequency response using the capacitor and
inductor values shown in Table 4-12 . The capacitor and inductor values were held constant while
the resistance was swept for four different combinations of resistance (the resistance of the
discrete/trace resistor and the resistance of the inductor), each resulting in a different series
resistance. In addition, different values for the resistance of the inductor were assumed based on its
max and typical DC resistance. This is summarized in
Table 4-13 . This yielded the four different
frequency response curves shown in Figure 4-38 .
