11.1.2 Common User Interface Problems
Symptom
Possible sources of error
Remedy
The user interface front
page cannot be accessed.
There is no connection to the
computer LAN.
• Verify that the ethernet cable connector is
plugged in. Refer to Wired Ethernet Connection
[
• Replace the ethernet cable.
• Verify that the LAN port on the computer is
functioning.
There is an IP address
conflict.
• If using a static IP address, verify that the
computer and Micro GC Fusion IP addresses
have been set correctly.
NOTICE! If Micro GC Fusion will be connected
to a local area network, check with the net-
work administrator prior to changing the IP
address to avoid conflicts.
There is no connection to the
Micro GC Fusion wireless
network.
• If using wireless, verify that the device is
connected to the Micro GC Fusion wireless
connection. Refer to Wireless Connection
[
• Verify Micro GC Fusion is powered on.
• Connect directly to a PC using an Ethernet
cable, to bypass the wireless connection.
The IP address is incorrect.
• Verify the Micro GC Fusion IP address by
looking at the front panel display. Refer to
Connecting to a Computing Device [
The web browser is
incompatible.
• Verify that the web browser meets the
specifications outlined in Computer Web
Browser Requirement [
Micro GC Fusion requires a
restart.
• Restart Micro GC Fusion. Refer to Shutdown

There is an instrument
communication failure.

The method button is not
visible.
The device's screen size is
too small.
• Method development can only be done if the
screen meets the minimum display resolution.
Access methods using a device with a larger
