Restore Power After an Emergency
Note: The following instructions assume that you turned off the
power supply switches during an emergency situation or
after a power outage occurred.
Use this procedure to restart the expansion unit after a power
failure or emergency shut down.
1. After the emergency situation is over or power is restored to the
building, check the expansion unit for damage.
Note: If there is no visible damage, continue with Step 2,
otherwise, have your system serviced. See Chapter 6,
“Getting Help, Service, and Information” on page 63.
2. After you have checked for damage, plug in the expansion unit
power cords and turn on both power switches.
3. Only the green LEDs on the front and back should be on. If one
or more of the amber Fault LEDs are on, refer to Table 2 on
page 60 for instructions.
4. Refer to your software application to check the software status
of the expansion unit.
