Working with Hot-Swap Power Supplies
The power supplies are customer replaceable units (CRUs) and do
not require preventive maintenance.
Both power supplies must always be in place, even if one is not
functioning properly, to maintain proper cooling.
Only use the supported power supplies for your specific
expansion unit.
Refer to Table 2 on page 60 for information on LEDs.
Attention:
Always follow these instructions when installing or
removing a hot-swap power supply.
To remove a hot-swap power supply:
1. Turn the power supply switch to the OFF position.
2. Unplug the power supply cord from the electrical outlet.
3. Disconnect the power cord from the power supply.
4. Remove the nut and clamp from the rear of the power supply.
5. Remove the power supply from the expansion unit.
a. Grasp the power supply's pull-ring and squeeze the latch to
release it.
b. Pull the lever open and remove the power supply.
