Context 

Convert the components that cause partial resistance loss such as elbows into the length 
equivalent to that of straight pipes, and add the equivalent length to the length of the straight 
pipe between the indoor and outdoor units to obtain the total one-way pipe length (L). L 
should be less than or equal to 60 meters. If L exceeds 60 meters, contact Huawei technical 
support.

Wear antifreeze gloves when performing refrigerant related operations. 

Following are the tools used for commissioning and refrigerant charging: 

 

Charging tools: pressure gauge (measuring range ≥ 4.0 MPa), leather hose (withstanding 
a pressure of at least 4.5 MPa), vacuum pump 

 

Measurement tools: electric balance 

 

Protective tools: insulation gloves, antifreeze gloves, and insulation shoes 

 

Other tools: flashlight
