(1) WATER TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Water Temperature Sensor

Sensor Inspection

Disconnect the water temperature sensor 2P con-
nector.
Measure the resistance between the water tempera-
ture sensor connector terminals.

Standard: 47.02 – 53.02 k

Ω

(25 ˚ C/77 ˚ F)

Replace the water temperature sensor if the resist-
ance is out of specification.

(1) PGM-FI 33P (BLACK) CONNECTOR

Meter Inspection

If the water temperature meter does not display,
inspect the following:
Disconnect the PGM-FI 33P (Black) connector and
water temperature meter 2P (Black) connector.
Check the continuity of the green terminal between
the ignition control module and water temperature
meter connector.

If there is continuity, check the water temperature
sensor.
If the water temperature sensor is normal, replace
