Release
V3.1.x
Description
Use this command to set the QuickLoop to single/dual switch mode or to display
the QuickLoop scope setting.
If no argument is specified, this command displays the current QuickLoop mode,
which can be single or dual switch. If in dual switch mode, the partner’s WWN
also displays.
If 0 is used as argument, this command sets the QuickLoop to run in single switch
mode, and restarts the switch if this causes a change in mode.
If a non-zero and valid WWN (a WWN that is part of the fabric) for a switch is
specified, that switch becomes the QuickLoop partner. The switch is then restarted
to run in dual switch mode.
The partner setting is updated in non-volatile memory.
Note:
If Advanced Zoning is in use the
qlDisable
,
qlEnable
, and
qlPartner
commands are not in effect. In this case, dual switch QuickLoops can be managed
using the telnet commands available through Advanced Zoning.
This command requires an Advanced Zoning license.
