Blown fuse
Fuses
(Refer to “Maintenance Precautions” on page 60.)
When frequent fuse failure
occurs, it usually indicates a
short circuit or overload in the
electrical system. See your
authorized Honda dealer for
repair.
1. Remove the left side cover (page 44).
2. Open the fuse box cover (2).
3. Remove the blown fuse and install a new one. The
spare fuses (3) are in the fuse box.
4. Close the fuse box cover and install the left side
cover.
Never use a fuse with a different rating from the
specified or any other conductive material. Serious
damage to the electrical system and subsequent
loss of lights or engine power, or a fire may result.
Fuse Box
The fuse box (1) is located behind the left side cover.
The capacities of the specified fuses are: 5A and 10A.
!
WARNING
Turn the ignition switch off before checking or
replacing the fuse to prevent an accidental
short-circuiting.
NOTE
Always keep spare fuses in the motorcycle. They may
be useful in case of electrical system failure.
