Brake Pad Wear
(CG150 Titan ESD/CG150 Sport)
(Refer to “Maintenance Precautions” on page 60.)
Brake pad wear depends upon the severity of usage,
type of riding and road conditions. Generally pads will
wear faster on wet, dusty and dirt roads.
Inspect the brake pads at each regular maintenance
interval (page 58).
Front Brake
Check the wear indicator mark (1) on each pad. If
either pad is worn to the indicator mark, replace both
pads as a set. See your authorized Honda dealer for
this service.
FRONT BRAKE
Brake Shoe Wear
(Refer to “Maintenance Precautions” on page 60.)
The front and rear brakes are equipped with wear
indicators.
When the brake is applied, the arrow (1) stamped on
the wear indicator on the brake arm (2) moves toward
the reference mark (3) on the brake panel (4).
