Im Spannungsbetrieb nimmt die elektronische Last so viel Strom auf,
bis sich durch den Innenwiderstand oder die Strombegrenzung des
Prüflings die gewünschte Spannung einstellt.
In voltage mode the electronic load consumes current until the desired
voltage is reached, either due to the internal impedance or the current
limitation of the unit under test.
Bei dynamischen Belastungen im Spannungsbetrieb können bei
vorhandenen Kapazitäten am Ausgang des Prüflings extrem hohe
Stromspitzen entstehen, die das Gerät nicht mehr einstellen kann.
Es kann dann zum Wirksamwerden der Strombegrenzung kommen
und die erzeugte Kurvenform weicht dann von der vorgegebenen
Kurvenform ab.
For dynamic settings in constant voltage mode high current transients
can occur which cannot be absorbed by the load when there is some
capacitance in the DUT´s output.
Then the electronic load may activate its current protection and the
produced waveform will differ from the desired waveform.
Dadurch, dass eine elektronische Last nur Strom aufnehmen und nicht
liefern kann, kann sie im Spannungsbetrieb bei dynamischen
Belastungen nur die fallenden Flanken regeln.
Die steigenden Flanken sind von den Eigenschaften der zu belastenden
Quelle abhängig.
Because of the fact that an electronic load can only consume and not
supply current to the DUT it can only control the falling edges of dynamic
loads. The properties of the DUT are responsible for the rising edges.
