Die Geräte der Serie PMLA verfügen serienmäßig über einen I/O-Port,
über den Einstellungen und Messungen vorgenommen werden
können.
The PMLA devices are equipped with a standard I/O Port which allows to
control settings and make measurements.
Der I/O-Port ist als 37-polige D-Sub-Buchsenleiste

ausgeführt. An
einer Buchse stehen die Signale für max. 4 Kanäle zur Verfügung.
The connector is carried out as a 37-pin D-Sub female connector. One
connector supplies the signals for max. 4 channels.

I/O Port
Der I/O-Port ist nicht isoliert!
Alle Ein- und Ausgänge des I/O-Ports sind galvanisch mit dem
negativen Lasteingang verbunden.
Eine zusätzliche Verbindung irgendeines Anschlusses am I/O-Port mit
dem Lasteingang oder Sense-Eingang des Gerätes erzeugt
Kurzschlüsse oder Masseschleifen und kann zu Fehlfunktionen,
Fehlmessungen bis hin zur Zerstörung des Gerätes führen!
The I/O Port is not isolated!
All inputs and outputs of the I/O Port are electrically connected to the
negative load terminal.
Additional connections of one of the pins of the I/O Port to one of the load
input terminals or to the sense terminals can produce short circuits or
ground loops which cause malfunction, incorrect measurement data or
can even damage the unit!
Ist das Gerät nicht mit allen Lastmodulen ausgerüstet, sind die
betreffenden Pins der freien Module nicht belegt. Das ist auch der Fall,
wenn Lastmodule mit höherer Leistung als 150 W eingebaut sind.
Dann sind pro weitere 150 W die Pins des jeweils nächsten Moduls
frei.
If the unit is not equipped with all load modules the pins of the unavailable
modules are not connected.
This is also the case when load modules with higher power than 150 W
are installed. Then the pins of each further module per 150 W are not
connected.

Um den I/O-Port verwenden zu können, muss dieser entweder
manuell über das Menü "Basic configuration" oder über eine
Datenschnittstelle
mit
den
SCPI-Befehlen
der
Gruppe
SETTing:EXTernal aktiviert werden.
In order to use the I/O Port it must be either locally activated in the menu
"Basic configuration" or remotely by the SCPI commands in the
SETTing:EXTernal group.
