Nach dem Einschalten sind alle Bits sämtlicher Statusregister FALSE
– mit Ausnahme von Bit 7 (PON) im Standard Event Register (s.u.).
After activating the electronic load all bits of all status registers are
FALSE – except Bit 7 (PON) in the Standard Event Register (see following
sections).

Condition Register
Repräsentiert den momentanen Status von Zuständen/Funktionen
und Fehlern. Der Bitzustand eines Condition Registers wird durch
das Lesen nicht verändert. Ein Zustand/Fehler ist aktiv, wenn das
zugehörige Bit gesetzt ist. Ist der entsprechende Zustand nicht mehr
aktiv, wird auch das jeweilige Bit im zugehörigen Condition Register
wieder gelöscht.
Condition Register
Represents the status of functions and errors. The bit state of a
Condition Register is not changed by reading it. A state/error is active if
the corresponding bit is set. If a state is no longer active the bit in the
corresponding Condition Register is reset.
Event Register
Speichert Informationen über aufgetretene Ereignisse und Fehler.
Jedes Bit eines Event Registers korrespondiert mit einem Bit im
Condition Register (beim Questionable Status und Operation Status)
oder direkt mit bestimmten Ereignissen (Standard Event Status).
Ein Bit im Event Register ist gesetzt, wenn das zugehörige Ereignis
aktiv geworden ist. Das Ereignis bleibt so lange gesetzt, bis das
entsprechende Event Register gelesen worden ist. Beim Lesen
werden alle Bits im betreffenden Event Register auf 0 zurückgesetzt.
Event Register
Saves information about occurred events and errors. Every bit of an
Event Register corresponds to a bit in the Condition Register (for
Questionable Status and Operation Status) or directly to special events
(Standard Event Status).
A bit in the Event Register is set when the corresponding event has
become active. The event is set until the corresponding Event Register
has been read. After reading the Event Registers all bits are reset to 0.
