Flap Control cont.
To disable flap control:
1. Scroll to highlight the “MIX” field in the flap control menu and
press the jog dial to activate the menu.
2. Select “INH” (inhibit) and press the jog dial to confirm your
selection.
3. Press the back button to return to the model function menu.
Landing
The Landing mix controls the ailerons, flaps, and elevator so they can act as an air brake that can
dramatically reduce the landing distance of an aircraft.
1. From the model menu, rotate the jog dial to highlight
“Landing” and press the jog dial once to enter the menu.
2. Press the jog dial to activate the menu.
3. Rotate the jog dial to select ”ACT” (activate), then press the jog
dial to confirm your selection.
4. Scroll to highlight the “AILE” field and press the jog dial to
activate the menu.
5. Rotate the jog dial to increase (clockwise) or decrease (counter-clockwise) the desired aileron servo
angle when the mode activated. Press the jog dial to confirm your input.
6. If a second aileron set up for the airplane is needed, repeat
steps 4 and 5 to change the “AILE2” value.
7. Scroll to highlight the “ELEV” field and press the jog dial to
activate the menu.
8. Rotate the jog dial to increase (clockwise) or decrease (counter-clockwise) the desired elevator servo
angle when the mode is activated. Press the jog dial to confirm your input.
9. If a second elevator set up for the airplane is needed, repeat
the steps 7-8 to move “ELEV2” field.
10. Scroll to highlight the “FLAP” field and press the jog dial to
activate the menu.
11. Rotate the jog dial to increase (clockwise) or decrease (counter-clockwise) the desired flaperon servo
angle when the mode activated. Press the jog dial to confirm your input.

12. If a second flap set up for the aircraft is needed, repeat the
steps 10 and 11 to change the “FLAP2” value.
13. Rotate the jog dial to highlight “SPEED” and press the jog dial
once to enter the menu. Rotate the jog dial to increase (clockwise)
or decrease (counter-clockwise) the desired speed of landing
function (0.0~10.0 sec) when the mode activated. Press the jog dial
to confirm your input.
14. Scroll to highlight the “S/W” field and press the jog dial twice
to activate the menu.
15. Rotate the jog dial to the desired switch that you will use for
landing mix. Press the jog dial to confirm your input.
a. If you choose the “NULL” option, the landing mix will remain
active at all times for this model.
b. If you choose a switch, scroll to highlight the switch position
that you will use to enable (“ON”) the mix. Press the jog dial to
confirm your selection.
16. Set up in accordance with Flight Condition
a. The upper right field of the menu displays which flight
condition is currently active and will be programmed.
b. Scroll to the Flight Condition field and press the jog dial to
activate the menu.
c. Choose the desired flight condition and press the jog dial to
confirm your selection.
