The detergent
indicator
recommends a
large amount of
detergent, even for
small wash loads.
Did you load wet laundry?
z
Moist or wet laundry may be detected as a
larger wash load.
This is not a malfunction.
Did you load a lot of thick items?
z
Thick items may be detected as a larger wash
load due to their heavy weight.
This is not a malfunction.
The detergent
indicator
recommends a
small amount of
detergent, even for
large wash loads.
Is the laundry concentrated on one side?
z
If the laundry is concentrated on one side or
is tangled, the wash load cannot be properly
detected and may be detected as smaller.
Load laundry into the drum carefully to avoid
concentration on one side.
(P. 19, 20)
Did you load a lot of items made of polyester or
other synthetic materials?
z
Items made of polyester or other synthetic
materials may be detected as a smaller wash
load due to their light weight.
This is not a malfunction.
The detergent
indicator is delayed
or does not appear.
z
Wash load detection can take anywhere
between 30 seconds to 2 minutes. When you
start an operation with water (about 3 L or
more) already in the drum, or when you are
using the [BLANKET], [DELICATE], or [TUB
CLEAN] program, the indicator does not
appear.
This is not a malfunction.
The 0.8 and 1.0
cup displays do
not appear for the
detergent indicator
when using
the [SPEEDY]
program.
z
Only the 0.3 and 0.6 cup displays appear
for the detergent indicator when using the
[SPEEDY] program.
This is not a malfunction.

The display flickers
for a moment upon
starting.
z
The display may flicker for brief moments due
to the internal operations of the control panel.
This is not a malfunction.
The [WASH] time
and number of
[RINSE] indicators
display a rotating
pattern.
Did you add excessive amounts of detergent?
z
When excessive foaming occurs, operations
may be prolonged for up to 15 minutes, as
an operation to reduce foaming is performed
automatically.
The indicators will display a rotating pattern
during this operation.
This is not a malfunction.
See “Examples of indicator displays during
operation”
(P. 8)
.
Refer to the detergent indicator to determine the
