Solution
Leftover detergent
Did you add excessive amounts of detergent?
z
Depending on the brand, the detergent may
not dissolve easily in low-temperature water.
Refer to the detergent indicator to determine the
appropriate amount of detergent.
(P. 26, 27)
Did you pour the detergent directly into the
drum?
z
If so, some detergent may remain in the drum.
Pour the detergent into the detergent dispenser.
Did you add clumps of detergent into the
detergent dispenser?
Break up clumps of detergent before adding it into
the powder detergent / powder bleach inlet.
Is the detergent dispenser wet?
Wipe the dispenser with a dry cloth before adding
the detergent.
Are you using powder soap made from natural
fats and oils?
Do not use powder soap. Such soaps may clog
the machine pipeline, resulting in malfunction or
water leakage.
z
Is there leftover detergent regardless of the
above?
Increase the number of rinse cycles or use the
Water-Injection Rinse function.
(P. 55)
Excessive lint
Is the lint filter clogged?
Clean the lint filter.
(P. 71, 72)
Do you clean the drum periodically?
z
Debris may have accumulated inside the drum.
Run the [TUB CLEAN] program periodically.
(P. 52)
z
Lint is more noticeable on dark colored
laundry.
Increase the number of rinse cycles or use the
Water-Injection Rinse function.
(P. 55)
To remove lint on laundry, run the [DRY] > [FUZZY]
program for 30 minutes.
z
Lint may be more noticeable when you wash
laundry (especially dark colors) immediately
after drying towels and other items that
produce significant lint.
We recommend running the [TUB CLEAN]
program to clean the drum before washing
laundry.
(P. 52)
Insufficient cleaning
Is the wash load large?
z
The maximum wash load size varies
depending on the program you are using.
Adjust the size of your wash load based on the
program you are using.
(P. 34, 35)
Are there dirt, food, or other hard-to-remove
stains on the laundry?
Use the [HOT WASH] function when washing
laundry with hard-to-remove stains such as food
stains.
(P. 65)
When washing laundry with hard-to-remove stains
such as dirt stains, pretreat the stains and set a
long washing time
(P. 55)
, or use the [HEAVY]
program.
(P. 34, 35)
Did you add excessive amounts of detergent?
z
If excessive foaming occurs, the beat washing
effect may be reduced, and a defoaming
operation may occur (water is drained and
new water is supplied) during the washing
operation.
Refer to the detergent indicator to determine the
appropriate amount of detergent.
