Maintenance
Lint filter
Clean the lint filter regularly.
A clogged lint filter will result in poor detergent flow and drainage.
z
Do not remove the lint filter during operations or when water remains in the drum or drain hose (e.g.,
after [WASH] only operations).
When the lint filter is removed, large amounts of water may spill out if water remains in the drum, if the drain hose
is elevated more than 10 cm off the ground, or if drain outlet is clogged.
z
Perform a spin operation before removing the lint filter, and make sure the water has drained.
The spin operation cannot be performed if “C17” appears. In such cases, turn the power off and turn it on again.
z
The [LINT FILTER] indicator will light and “C17” will appear if the lint filter is clogged or after the [WASH] and
[WASH DRY] operations are used. In such cases, turn off the power and clean the lint filter. When you turn on the
power again, the displays will disappear.
z
You can perform operations while [LINT FILTER] and “C17” appear, but the circulation pump will not operate and
Water-Injection Rinse may be used. In such cases, turn off the power and clean the lint filter before operation.
Preparation
Perform a spin operation before removing the lint filter, and make sure the water has

Remove the lint, and clear the clogged filter.
z
If the filter is heavily clogged, use a toothbrush or similar tool to
brush it clean.
z
Avoid cleaning the rubber seal, and only remove lint and other
debris. If you clean off the lubricant on the rubber seal, the lint
filter will be harder to turn.
