ENC unit status LEDs
The ENC unit contains two LEDs that show the status of the unit. These are
shown and explained in the following figure and tables.

Locate
ORANGE
The Locate LED lights when an expansion unit has
encountered a serious error.
OFF Normal operation
ON
A serious error has occurred in the array. Please
contact Hitachi Data Systems Technical Support.

Power
GREEN
ON
The base unit is turned ON and receiving power
and the power control signal is received by the
expansion unit. The expansion unit is on and
receiving power.
OFF
The base unit is not turned on and/or the
expansion unit is not receiving power.
