Replaceable parts
The replaceable parts for the Hitachi AMS 2100/2300 Storage System are
listed and described in Chapter 3, Replaceable parts .
System overview
The AMS 2000 Family storage system includes from one to four main
components, depending on the model. These components are listed in the
following table and briefly described in this section.
Figure 1-3 shows a basic illustration of a base unit, an expansion unit, a
high-density expansion unit, an AMS modular 2U SAS expansion unit, and
a battery expansion unit.
