12.7.7 Setting the braking force on the light head

Adjusting the friction brake

for the light head on the handle
attachment. If the friction brake can no longer be adjusted, an
internal brake strip must be replaced by a service technician.
1. Pull the sterile handle ① off the handle adapter.
2. Unscrew the four Allen screws ⑥ (M4 x 15 mm).
3. Remove the securing ring ⑤.
4. Remove cover of the handle a achment ④.
5. Evenly turn the two M6 threaded pins with Allen key ③
(6 mm) in adjustment hole ②.
Reducing the braking force
• Turn the adjustment screw to the left (anti-clockwise).
Increasing the braking force
• Turn the adjustment screw to the right (clockwise).
6. Put on the cover of the handle a achment ④.
7. Put on the securing ring ⑤.
8. Fasten the securing ring with the four Allen screws ⑥.
9. Check the firm attachment of the components.
10. Put the sterile handle ① on the handle adapter.
11. Carry out a function test of the braking force.
