Backup 

7.1 Backing up Record Files 

Before you start 

Please insert the backup device(s) into the device. 

7.1.1 Backing up by Normal Video/Picture Search 

The record files or pictures can be backed up to various devices, such as USB devices (USB flash 

drives, USB HDDs, USB writer), a SATA writer and an e-SATA HDD. 

Backup using USB flash drives and USB HDDs 
Steps:

Go to 

Menu > Export > Normal/Picture

. 

2.

 

Select the cameras to search.   

3.

 

Set the search conditions and click the <Search> button to enter the <Search Result> 

interface.

The matched video files are displayed in the <Chart> or the <List> display modes.   

Click 

  to play the record file, if you want to check it. 

Check the checkbox infront of the video files that you want to back up. 

Note: 

The size of the currently selected files is displayed in the lower-left corner of the window.
