Throttle/brake MIX mix THF / MIX THB
This function sets up a mixer from the throttle/brake
function to servo function 3.
Example for separate front/rear wheel brake:
Explanation: Large-scale models often employ separa-
te brake servos, as it is desirable to adjust the braking
force individually for the front and rear wheels.

In the Mix Menu you can define how the “steering wheel”
and “throttle” transmitter controls are to affect servo
function 3 as a mixer function. The mixer ratio and mixer
offset can be programmed and set separately for each
transmitter control.

MIX throttle/brake servo 3
(Set-up Menu)
Note: If you are using the MIX function there is no sense
in setting servo 3 to non-proportional (2P) mode.
The AUX 3 function should therefore be set to “0” or
“LN” in System Mode.
1. Switch the transmitter ON to reach the Set-up Menu.
2. Press the MODE button repeatedly until the menu
point MIX STL/MIX STR appears on the screen.
3. Press the CHANNEL button repeatedly, and operate
the steering wheel left/right at the same time to select
the function MIX STL or MIX STR; operate the throttle/
brake lever to select MIX THF or MIX THB.
4. Move the selected transmitter control in the direction
to be adjusted (left/right, forward/reverse or brake),
then adjust the mixer value for servo 3 using INC+ or
DEC-. Move the transmitter control in the opposite
direction to adjust the other end of the servo’s travel.
5. Switch the transmitter OFF/ON briefly to store the set
values and leave the Set-up Menu. The transmitter
now reverts to the base screen display.

(“LF”) forward or (“RB”) brake,
according to the current position
of the throttle/brake lever.
The purpose of deadband reduction is to reduce or
eliminate the “deadband” (lost motion in the throttle/brake
linkage) between the neutral point and the point where
the throttle takes effect, and from neutral to the point
where the brake takes effect.
This area is termed the “deadband”. If more throttle trim
is used (known as static brake), greater trigger deadband
exists to the right of neutral.
Adjust the forward value until the wheels of your RC car
just move when you operate the throttle lever slightly.
Adjust the brake value until the brake shoes just make
contact with the brake disc when you operate the brake
lever slightly.
