Transmission rate (Frame Selection) N = Normal and F = Fast in System Mode
For professional drivers the XS-6 FM RACE radio control
system offers the facility to switch the Frame Rate
(transmission time) from around 19 ms (normal) to 12.7
ms (fast).
This fast Frame Time is preferred for racing work by
professional drivers, as it provides more direct control
of high-performance servos as used in competition work,
when very small differences in lap times can decide the
top places in any race.
If you wish to use this facility with FM receivers of other
makes it is essential to carry out a careful check to ensure
that the servos and speed controller work correctly with
it.

CLR: Erasing data in System mode
The CLR function enables the user to erase all data in
the memory of the selected model in System Mode, and
to reset the memory to the manufacturer’s default
settings. The first step is to select the model to be erased
using the INC+ or DEC- buttons.
1. Hold the MODE button pressed in and switch the
transmitter ON to reach System Mode.
2. Press the MODE button repeatedly to select the Mo-
del Memory Menu MDL, and select the desired model
using INC+ or DEC-.
3. Press the MODE button six times to reach the Erase
Menu CLR.
The previously selected model number now flashes.
Pressing the INC+ and DEC- buttons simultaneously
erases the set (flashing) model memory, and the
memory is reset to the factory default values.
4. Model data can now be entered into the vacant
memory in System Mode (for more information see
System Mode flowchart).
If you press the INC+ and DEC- buttons simultaneously
the selected (flashing) model memory is erased, and
the memory is reset to the factory default values.
The number of the selected model ceases to flash. The
model memory can now be re-programmed with the data
for another model.
