Electronic Trim for Steering and Throttle (Direct TRIM using Trim buttons)
Electronic trim, steering servo (ST)
Steering wheel trim adjustment:
1. Switch on the transmitter and the receiving system in
the model, then move the steering wheel trim button
(2) ST TRIM in the desired direction. The screen
responds by automatically displaying the Steering
Centre Trim Menu TRIM STC.
2. Hold TRIM button (2) TRIM ST (steering servo) in the
appropriate direction until the steering system on the
model reaches the centre position, or until the model
runs in a perfectly straight line. (The adjustment range
is +/- 30 steps.) If the range of the electronic trim
system is not sufficient, it is possible to make a larger
correction using the SUB-TRIM mode TRIM STS. If
you find that a major deviation of the centre position
of the steering servo is required, we recommend that
you carry out a mechanical adjustment to the linkage
at the steering servo.
3. Release trim button (2) TRIM STC, and the TRIM
correction value is stored. The transmitter screen now
reverts automatically to the base display after a few
moments.
Electronic trim, throttle/brake servo (TH)
Throttle/brake servo trim adjustment:
1. Switch on the transmitter and the receiving system in
the model, then move the throttle/brake trim button
(1) TH TRIM in the desired direction. The screen
responds by automatically displaying the Throttle/
Brake Centre Trim Menu TRIM THC.
2. Hold TRIM button (1) TRIM TH (throttle/brake servo)
in the appropriate direction until the throttle/brake
servo reaches the centre position. (The adjustment
range is +/- 60 steps.) If the range of the electronic
trim system is not sufficient, it is possible to make a
larger correction in the SUB-TRIM mode TRIM THS.
If a major deviation of the centre position of the throttle/
brake servo is required, we recommend that you carry
out a mechanical adjustment to the linkage at the
throttle/brake servo.
3. Release trim button (1) TRIM THC, and the TRIM
correction value is stored. The transmitter screen now
reverts automatically to the base display after a few
moments.

Note
: The stated maximum centre offsets must not be
exceeded, otherwise the servos concerned could strike
their mechanical end-stops. The maximum values are:
steering servo STC (Direct TRIM) +/- 30 steps, STS
(SUB-TRIM) max. +/- 125 steps, throttle/brake servo
THC (Direct TRIM) max. +/- 60 steps and THS (SUB-
TRIM) max. +/- 125 steps.
Changes to SUB-TRIM affect the end-points (left and
right) as well as the centre position. If you use SUB-
TRIM please check the end-point positions carefully to
ensure that the servo is not damaged due to striking its
mechanical end-stops.
