The  oversampling  configuration  can  only  be  changed  when  ADCON  is  reset.  Make  sure 

configuring the oversampling before setting ADCON to 1.

ADC interrupts 

The interrupt can be produced on one of the events: 

 

End of conversion for routine sequence. 

 

The analog watchdog event. 

Separate interrupt enable bits are available for flexibility.
