5.1 Acceptable Devices
The devices shown in Figure 2–1 are specified to be suitable for
use within the PATIENT ENVIRONMENT.
DO NOT connect any probes or accessories without approval
by GE.
Please refer to Peripheral Devices on
16–38 for more details. The devices listed have been tested
and verified to be compatible with the LOGIQ
500 system.
5.2 Unapproved Devices
The user takes All Responsibility for connecting unapproved
devices.
If devices are connected without the approval of GE, the
warranty will be INVALID.
Any device connected to the LOGIQ
500 must conform to one
or more of the requirements listed below:
1.
IEC 50, IEC 65, IEC 335, IEC 348, IEC 414, IEC 820,
IEC 950, IEC 1010–1, ISO 7767, ISO 8185, ISO 8359
or IEC 60601–1.
2.
The devices shall be connected to PROTECTIVE
EARTH (GROUND).
