Removing A Detector
A Detector must be “Non-associated” detector, to be removed from the system.
If a Detector is “Associated” you must change it to “Non-associated” before
you can remove it from the system.
Note:
If a detector has been registered with the wrong MAC address, the user can firstly remove
this detector and then register the detector again with the right MAC address.
1. Select the detector on the Detector Registration screen.
2. Make sure the Digital Detector is “Non-associated”.
3. Press [Remove]. A removal confirm message box pops up.
4. Press [Yes]. The Detector is now removed from the system.
Edit A Detector
To edit the name/shape/color of the detector, or change a “Non-associated”to
“Associated”, or change a “Associated”to “Non-associated”, click the
[Edit] button to proceed.
To change a “Non-associated” as “Associated” detector, the process is
the same as register a detector as associated.
To change an “Associated” as “Non-associated” detector:
- Upon releasing the associated detector successfully, associated
detector shall be updated as “Non-associated” in the detector
registration window.
- If the detector release failed, the associated detector will not become
non-associated.
