3. Align the arm with holes (1) of the replacement bucket and
the link with holes (2), then insert grease-coated pins (A) and
(B) into hole (1) and hole (2) respectively.
REMARK
Carry out installation in the reverse order to removal.
When installing the bucket (6), it is easy to damage the O-ring (7),
so fit the O-ring (7) to the arm (4) in the position shown in the dia-
gram on the right. After inserting the pin, fit the O-ring correctly in
the groove.
Install the stopper bolts and nuts for each pin, then grease the pin.
Lubricate with grease thoroughly until the grease comes out from
the end face.
When replacing the bucket, replace the dust seal if it has been
damaged. If a damaged seal is used without being replaced,
sand and dirt may enter the pin portion and cause abnormal wear
of the pin.
