Remove the SFP+ transceiver module from its protective packaging.
▶
Remove the protective cap from the new/additional SFP+ transceiver
module.
CAUTION
▶
Always keep the protective caps attached to the SFP+
transceiver modules and fiber-optic cable connectors until you
are ready to make a connection.
▶
Keep the protective cap for future use.
