5．MAINTENANCE AFTER WORK
●
When removing snow from the auger housing and chute, set the work clutch lever and travel
clutch lever at "Off" and stop the engine. Make sure the auger and blower have stopped
rotating completely, and then, be sure to use the installed unclogging stick. Never remove
snow with hands. Your hand may be caught in the machine and injury may occur.

Put sheet cover on the machine after heating part has cooled down sufficiently.
●
Stop the engine on a flat area to carry out maintenance after work. Make sure each part
has stopped its operation completely, and heating part has cooled down before carrying out
maintenance.
■WHEN SNOW REMOVAL WORK IS OVER
●
After finishing work, set the work clutch lever at "On" to
rotate the auger and blower. Blow away any remaining
snow from the auger housing and chute to prevent
freeze. If the machine is frozen, it may be impossible to
work next time.
●
Remove snow and dirt from the machine. Wipe off well
especially water on panel.
●
Watch around the machine to check if there is damage
or abnormality such as oil leak. If abnormality is found,

carry out inspection and service.
●
For storage, put the machine indoors, at flat area. Lower
the auger housing to the ground and remove the engine
key.
●
Be sure to remove the engine key from
engine switch after stopping the engine.
The engine key may be lost and unexpected
accident may occur.
●
In case keeping the machine outdoors, cover it with
sheet cover so that the machine is not exposed to snow,

rain, and wind. Especially, operation parts and around
engine should be covered well.
●
Stopping the engine when each part keeps high temperature or when the engine keeps
high revolution shortens the engine life. Before stopping the engine, be sure to keep
it running (low-idling) for a few minutes except case of emergency.
●
Check if each part of engine has abnormalities during cooling down.
●
Do not revolve high before stopping the engine.
●
After stopping the engine, walk around the machine to check if there is leak of fuel and oil.
If leak is found, ask your dealer for inspection and service.
●
Be careful that water does not splash on starter motor of engine, air cleaner intake,
electrical parts such as battery, wire, engine switch, etc.
