PART II OPERATION HOW TO REMOVE SNOW
1．OPERATING CONDITION
Do not carry out snow removal work under conditions below.
●
When snow throw control is difficult because of
snowstorm or strong wind.
●
When visibility is bad because of snowfall or obstacles.
●
In congested place with houses where there is not
enough space to throw snow.
●
In place where there are people.
●
In place where there are obstacles and foreign object
such as gravels and waste.
●
In unstable place such as slope, steps, roof, and unfixed

●
When ventilation is insufficient.
2．HOW TO REMOVE SNOW
●
When moving backward, be careful of obstacles on your back and footing. Travel at
low speed.
●
When removing clogging snow, set the work clutch lever and travel clutch lever
at "Off" and stop the engine. Make sure the auger and blower have stopped rotating
completely, and be sure to use installed unclogging stick. Be sure to do this procedure
in flat area to prevent danger.
●
The machine must be used only for snow removal. Do not use it for other purpose.
●
Do not work in place where the ground is not flat such as roof and unfixed place.
●
Keep people and animal away from operating area. Remove any foreign object such
as wood piece, can, wire, etc.
●
Do not throw snow at people or building.
●
Do not look into the rotating parts and chute. Keep hands and feet away from
these parts.
●
Do not perform snow removal work on a slope. When you must work on the slope,
be sure to observe the followings.
・ Do not set the change lever at or through "N.Neutral". Do not operate the side
clutch levers. The machine may slip down, which is very dangerous.
・ Set the change lever at "Low speed", be careful not to fall down or slip.
Work slowly at the lowest speed.
●
If a foreign object hits or twines around the machine during snow removal work, or
when abnormal vibration, sound, or smell is found, immediately set the work clutch
lever and travel clutch lever at "Off", and stop the engine.
●
In case working at night, be sure to turn on the head light and work light.
●
Do not cross slope while working.
●
Make sure the change lever is at "Neutral point" before setting the travel clutch
lever at "On".
●
In case working with assistant, give signals during work.
