The chute cover prevents hands and things from entering chute.
When the chute is clogged with snow, open the chute cover to remove the snow.

"Open" (pull the lever towards you while raising it up) -
the cover opens.

"Close" (put down the mounting lever with the lever up) -
the cover is closed.
Engine start interlock is a safety device that does not let the engine start when the following operations are
performed.
The engine can not be started if the travel clutch lever is
at "On" position.
The engine can not be started if the blower brake release
lever is at "Release" position.
The engine can not be started if the chute cover is open.
Engine stop interlock is a safety device that stops the engine when the following operations are performed.
The engine stops when the blower brake release lever is set
at "Release" while the engine is rotating.
The engine stops when the chute cover is opened while the
engine is rotating.
