PART II OPERATION BEFORE USING THE MACHINE
■CLUTCH INTERLOCK
●
Carry out inspection after the engine and every part has stopped its operation completely.
●
Check if the handle and panel parts are frozen. When there is frozen snow and ice, remove it.
Remove well especially snow and ice between the work and travel clutch levers and handle.
●
When malfunction is found in inspection, ask your dealer for service immediately.
●
Set the travel clutch lever at "On" and take your hand
off. Check if the lever returns to "Off" position.
●
Set the work clutch lever at "On" and take your hand
off. Check if the lever returns to "Off" position.
●
With the travel clutch lever at "On", set the work
clutch lever at "On". Check if the work clutch lever
is fixed at "On" position.
●
After that, take your hand off the travel clutch lever.
Check if both the travel clutch lever and work clutch
lever return to "Off" position.

■BACKWARD EMERGENCY STOP DEVICE
●
If malfunction is found in inspection, ask your dealer for service immediately.
Inspect and check the following with the engine stopped.
●
Set the travel clutch lever at "On" and push the
change lever to the fastest backward, at "High speed"
side . Check if the change lever returns to
"Neutral point" when operating backward emergency
stop device.

■TENSION OF CRAWLER
●
Check if the tension of crawler is proper.
The length of the spring should be 170mm.
●
In case the tension is not proper,
ask your dealer for inspection and
maintenance.
