PART II OPERATION BEFORE USING THE MACHINE
■AMOUNT AND DIRT OF ENGINE OIL

Check the engine oil after the engine has cooled down. Otherwise, a burn may occur.
●
Carry out inspection before starting the engine or when
5 minutes or more have passed after stopping the engine.
●
Pull out oil gauge and wipe the tip. Insert it and pull out
again. If the oil level is between two marked lines,
the amount of oil is regular.
●
If there is insufficient amount of oil, put new oil through
the filler port. Check engine oil amount again when
5 minutes or more have passed after replenishment
●
Check the oil level every day before starting
the engine. Keep prescribed oil change time

strictly. Continued use of old oil will adversely
affect the engine.
●
When replenishing or changing the engine
oil, be careful that water from snow
and rain or dust does not enter.
●

■CLOGGING AND DIRTINESS OF AIR CLEANER
●
Take the element out of the air cleaner and check if the
element is clogged, dirty, or moist. Remove the dust and
wipe away the dirtiness and the moist with clean cloth.
●
Do not add oil because the engine uses
dry element.
●
Replace the element when it is dirty
and severely clogged.
●

■HST OIL TANK
●
Check if the oil level is in regular range.
●
If the oil level is between upper limit and lower limit of
the oil tank gauge, there is regular amount.
●
If the amount is insufficient, ask your
dealer for inspection and service.
●
Oil level rises and falls a little depending
on temperature. It is not a failure.
●
The amount of oil hardly decreases because
of the structure of HST drive case. If the
amount of oil decreases remarkably,

there may be damage to HST drive case.
Ask your dealer for inspection and service.
Refer to “Engine Manual” when using at a
temperature other than the above.
