The R8100 firmware can be upgraded in the field using a USB Flash Drive.

Caution: firmware changes

can significantly affect analyzer operation and should be performed carefully. An improperly executed
firmware upgrade can render the analyzer inoperable. It is recommended that Freedom
Communication Technologies support personnel be consulted and involved in firmware upgrades of
the R8100.
