4.1 Installation 

and 

Precautions 

 

Carefully review all installation warnings and instructions before proceeding. 

 

  Handle VFD with care to prevent damage to the plastic components. Do not hold VFD 

by the front cover. 

  Do not mount VFD on the equipment with excessive vibration above 5.9 m/sec

  Install VFD in a location where temperature is within the permissible range 14~122

°

(-10~50

°

C). 

  Install it on a non-combustible surface because VFD generates heat during normal 

operation. 

  Mount VFD vertically (top up) for proper heat dissipation. Provide sufficient clearance 

for an airflow around VFD. (see figure 4.1.1 below)
