12 SETUP MENU

THE UTILITIES MENU

UTILITY: DISPLAY PAGE

Provides a control to adjust brightness for the main LCD display. On the Axe-Fx III Mark II, there are additional

controls for the LED Brightness and Color of the main front panel logo.

UTILITY: ADC LEVELS

Shows Analog-to-Digital Converter levels for the four front panel Level knobs and rear panel Expression jacks for

troubleshooting. You can set the output level here at an exact percentage.

UTILITY: RESET PAGE

This page provides a tool to set parameters in the SETUP menu back to factory default values. Reset system

parameters is one of the first steps of troubleshooting. It never deletes or modifies your presets. You will be

prompted to press ENTER to confirm.

Be very careful with this option. Resetting system parameters is irreversible!

A second utility provides the ability to Clear all Presets. You will be prompted to press ENTER to confirm.

Be very careful with this option. Erasing presets is irreversible!

UTILITY: USB PAGE

This page meters the USB input and output FIFO buffers. Ideally these will be at around 50%. If the buffer

overflows or underflows, USB Buffer Size (

p. 74

) should be increased. Remember that you need to quit all

audio applications or remove and reconnect the USB cable to reset the buffer.
