The following procedure shows how to save a program to a FAT32 DOS formatted CompactFlash
TM
card (of
more than 530 MB).
It is assumed that a FAT32 formatted CompactFlash
TM
card is set to the CF drive. Note that you can save a
program to the E-IDE hard disk for backup instead of the CF drive in the similar manner.
(1)
While the unit is stopped, press the [SETUP] key
to enter the SETUP mode.
(2)
Use the jog dial to select "Save PGM" menu and
press the [EXECUTE/YES] key.
"IDE2" flashes.
(3)
While "IDE2" is flashing, press the [EXECUTE/YES]
key.
After the display briefly shows the backup drive
name, you can now select the destination storage
folder.
"B01" initially flashes. You can use the jog dial to
select a storage folder from "B01" to "Bnn" or from
"W01" to "Wnn".
When you save DAT files, select any storage folder
from "B01" to "Bnn". When you save WAV files,
select a storage folder from "W01" to "Wnn".
Saving a WAV file
<Note>:
A WAV file saved to a DOS-formatted backup
disk can be used on a personal computer. Note that,
however, the D2424LVmkII does not support a long
file name. Therefore, if you give a long file name using
a computer, the D2424LVmkII may not read it.
