■ Changing driver/vehicle during operation
Changing driver cards
Case 1:
Team exchanges among themselves,
driver 2 switches with driver 1
1. Remove the driver cards from their slots
and insert in other slot. First, driver 2 (now
driver 1) inserts their driver card into card
slot 1 and driver 1 (now driver 2) inserts
their driver card into card slot 2.
2. Set the desired activity.
Case 2:
Driver 1 and/or Driver 2 leaves
the vehicle
1. Related driver requests their own driver
card, when necessary prints out the daily
report and removes driver card from
DTCO 1381 tachograph.
2. New driver team inserts the driver cards
according to their roles (driver 1 or driver
2)
3rd situation - mixed operation:
Driver working with different tachograph
types

digital tachograph as per regulation
number 3821V85/AET Appendix I B, for
example DTCO 1381.
The driver must be able to present the follow-
ing for the current week and the past 28 days
in a supervision performed:
•
Driver card (1),
•
If the daily reports printed from digital
tachograph (2) for example the driver
card is damaged or malfunctioning,
•
Written tachograph papers (3)
•
and handwritten records belonging to the
activity when required
