Fuel Quality and Refueling
Spark Arrester
Spark arrester shall always be installed during
refuelling in gas stations and while draining or
adding fuel. Do not keep the spark arrester on the
vehicle when the vehicle has left the gas station.
Hook the spark arrestor from its clips to the hangers
shown in the figure. Close the clips and retain the
spark arrestor to the exhaust.
Clean the spark arrester with pressurized water so
that its pores are also cleaned every 25 uses.
Put on a pair of heat-resistant gloves again while
removing the spark arrester. Both muffler and spark
arrester will be hot during removal
Loosen the retaining clips on spark arrestor and
detach from exhaust.
Put on a pair of gloves before installing spark
arrester as the muffler is hot.
