Please note

In order to comply with protection class IP65/IP67:

Fit the DIL switch cover.

Seal the service interface with the protective cap
supplied.

Use the Festo sub−D plug.

Note that only the Festo sub−D plug guarantees
compliance with protection class IP65/IP67.

Connecting with sub−D plugs of other manufacturers

Connecting with sub−D plugs of other manufacturers:

Replace the two flat screws with bolts
(type UNC4−40/M3x6).

Connect the cable screening/shield to the plug housing.
