Online diagnosis with COM PROFIBUS 5.0

You can display error messages of the device-specific diag-
nosis with COM PROFIBUS 5.0.

Your configuration must meet the following requirements for
online diagnosis:

–

PROFIBUS-PC card for COM PROFIBUS installed

–

PROFIBUS-PC card connected to PROFIBUS network

–

Relevant project called up in COM PROFIBUS

Carry out the online diagnosis as follows:

1. Click the right-hand mouse button on the slave.

A menu appears.

2. Click on “Diagnosis...”.

The mask “Bus parameter DP card” appears.

3. Select the bus parameter that corresponds to your system.

Confirm with OK.
A window with diagnostic information appears.

4. Read diagnostic information (See Fig. 5/15).
