5.1 Summary of diagnostic options
The modular valve terminal offers comprehensive and easy
options for diagnosis and error handling. Depending of the
terminal equipment, the following options are available:

Short
description The four status bits are
cyclically transmitted as
“inputs” with the normal
inputs for the module. The LEDs display direct
configuration errors,
hardware errors, bus er-
rors, etc. The diagnostic word must
be user program con-
trolled (acyclic) read and
evaluated.
