OPERATION BASICS
I
t is strongly recommended to read this
manual before operating the CARD G FIT unit. The information provided in this manual is very
helpful and may help preventing damages and injuries.
Only qualified personnel are permitted to set up, install, operate or perform maintenance on
CARD G FIT
units. Contact
or its representative if you are unsure or have any
question before operating the unit and accessories delivered with it.
ATTENTION!
The switch cabinet panel and all other housing parts of the CARD G FIT must
remain attached to the unit and secured at all times. Only qualified personnel
are permitted to open the switch cabinet with the main power switch in OFF
position.
The CARD G FIT is powered on and off through the main switch on the back of the unit. The
display of the FIT-controller illuminates when power is on.
Check the resin type in the drying hopper and the recommended drying
temperature before starting any drying process and before making any changes
to the drying temperature. Check the actual unit setting (°C or °F) before setting
or changing the drying temperature.
DO NOT CHANGE operational, function, control or alarm parameters without
knowing the consequence resulting from the parameter change. Read this
manual before changing any parameters and contact
or its
representative if you are unsure or have any questions. Changing parameters
has a great influence on the unit’s performance and may cause injuries or
damage to the equipment.
The drying process is to be stopped by pressing the keys
, allowing
enough time for heater cooling and the shut down process before moving the
main power switch into OFF position.
