must be activated on the FIT (see chapter 15 /
page 37). If alarms exist, the F
AULT
S
CREEN
will appear and the
strobe light will be activated.
Pressing
at the same time deactivates the strobe
light. The M
AIN
S
CREEN
appears as soon as all faults are
eliminated.
Make sure that the desired unit (°F or °C) is displayed in the
upper part of the screen (SET, ACT). The temperature is
displayed with the letter C (for degrees Centigrade) or F (for
degrees Fahrenheit). The temperatures displayed should be around the ambient air
temperature or slightly lower. Refer to chapter 17.10.3 on page 72 to change the units
from metric to imperial or vice versa. OFF is shown for 8 seconds in turn with the set
value for 2 seconds in the green area and indicates that the dryer is not in operation.

Use the numeric keys to input the desired
temperature (80 to 120°C) [176 to 248°F].
ATTENTION: If the hopper has already been
filled with resin, the temperature must not be
set higher than to the maximum permitted
drying temperature of the resin.

to accept the new value. Press
to return to the M
AIN

CREEN
. The
new set value is shown in the green area at the upper side (SET).
Now the drying process may be activated with
.
The process air starts flowing and the actual process air temperature (ACT) starts
rising fast towards the set temperature. It slows down as it approaches the set
temperature and finally stays at the set temperature.
Switch the dryer off by simultaneously pressing
.
