To prevent seal damage, lightly coat the axle shaft with bearing grease and support the shaft
during installation.

Since it is very difficult to reach the original engaging strength of bearing mounting sleeve once it is
disassembled and this may result in instable installation of the shaft and the vehicle may fail to run
normally, we recommend that the rear axle shaft assembly shall be replaced by a new one in case the
rear axle bearing is damaged.
Rear Axle Shaft Replacement
It must be fitted onto the shaft via the brake. Rotate the shaft until the spline engages with the differential
side gears.
Coat the outboard spline of the axle with a commercially available anti-seize compound. Be sure to
tighten the bearing pressure place, brake backing plate, and the axle tube nuts to 17 ft lb (23 N·m).
